Montecito has a plethora of restaurants that will satisfy your cravings.  This list explores some of the most popular places to eat in this charming town.  These are just a few to name but should all be tried at sometime!

Lucky’s

Given to impeccable preparation of dishes, legendary Lucky’s ensures that diners are privy to the best steaks and chops possible. Lucky’s has been honoring the classic American steakhouse tradition in Montecito since 2000. Terrific ingredients make the difference, and everything is made in-house. Aged Midwestern beef in a variety of cuts draws rave reviews, as do racks of lamb, chops, Maine lobster, fresh fish and hefty shrimp cocktails. The stylish interior boasts black-and-white photos of classic film stars, and an outdoor patio adds to the charm. Well-received and always popular.

Tre Lune

From the moment you set foot inside the restaurant, Tre Lune’s mission is clear: each of their patrons will walk away with a classic taste of Italy. And come back, again and again, as their many loyal customers already do. The warm wood decor is inviting with black and white photos of vintage celebrities line the walls. Tre Lune’s menu celebrates the different regions of Italy, each dish made with the freshest components, highlighting a prestigious ingredient. At Tre Lune, you’ll find delicious, simple food; reminiscent of your last visit to Italy.

Stonehouse at San Ysidro

The Stonehouse began life as a 19th century citrus packing building before being transformed into the luxe dining establishment it is today. Located on the lush grounds of the San Ysidro Ranch (one of the area’s finest luxury hotels), the Stonehouse is comprised of two main areas. Featuring a relaxing lounge with full bar service and a separate dining room with crackling fireplace and creek side views. Their menu emphasizes regional cuisine prepared with fresh fruits and vegetables, harvested from the kitchen’s onsite garden. Guests can dine under the romantic gaze of Southern California’s stars on the ocean view deck–a wood-burning fireplace and heated stone flooring provide year-round comfort.

Four Seasons Biltmore

The perfect place for a Sunday Brunch or evening out on the terrace. The spacious outdoor oceanfront at the Biltmore is the perfect setting to enjoy a delicious meal with family or friends. Specializing in innovative, locally sourced cuisine their menus entice you with stunning dishes. Brunch at the Bella Vista restaurant within the Four Seasons Resort is what legends are made of, well known for their outstanding brunches with amazing selections. With Butterfly Beach across the way, this spot is perfect for an entire day!

The Honor Bar

A happening place to go for small bites and tasty cocktails in Montecito! Hit up the Honor Bar when you feel like catching up with friends – or making new. The social atmosphere at the bar is fun, and the sunny patio is ideal for soaking up the sun over lunch, dinner or drinks.  You’ll find an exquisite wooden bar in the center, surrounded by cozy booths. This tiny space also sports an exhibition kitchen where you can watch all the action. There are lots of tasty appetizers to be had and plenty of wines available by the glass. You can also pick up grab pizzas to go if you’re in a hurry. Located on one of the best shopping streets in the area, and the patio is dog friendly.

Jeannine’s

Probably the most-beloved breakfast spot in Montecito, this cute little bakery and restaurant is also open for lunch. Stop by in the morning for a hearty and delicious plate of eggs benedict or huevos rancheros. Or breeze through for an amazing vanilla latte and some great muffins, scones and cookies to go! Their menu is made from wholesome natural ingredients. A popular meeting spot for locals, you can expect a wait for a table on weekends – and sometimes even week days. Their patio is lovely, and their location is too.

Sakana

Locals will tell you that this is one of the best sushi restaurants in all of Santa Barbara. Fresh fish and an extensive sake menu are standouts here. They make every dish beautiful with amazing sauces. modern decor is comfortable and refreshing in this small space. Sakana does not accept reservations; be prepared for a wait (fortunately, there are lots of shops to peer into within walking distance).

Los Arroyos Montecito

Los Arroyos is a family owned mexican restaurant with three locations. The Montecito location is well known as one of the best mexican restaurants in the area. Authentic, tasty medium sized portions are prepped and served in a quick manner while you can enjoy the salsa bar.  Los Arroyos every year seems to win accolades from locals as one of the better Mexican restaurants. The staff are friendly and make your overall experience exceptional.
