The Hamilton Co. is delirious over fashion from current runway looks to vintage designer duds. I cultivated my prized Vintage Pucci collection with an original purchase at Decades in Los Angeles, owned by Cameron Silver. It was a dream come true for this haute couture loving gal and it didn’t take me long to discover the companion store Decadestwo, owned by Christos Garkinos, a man who has become a friend and who has a fine eye for resale style gems.
Decadestwo is an internationally renowned retail/consignment destination. Unlike other places where you never know if a visit is going to be hit or miss, Decadestwo’s consigner base is comprised of the chicest celebrities, stylists (think Rachel Zoe) and fashionistas. The inventory is consistently full of high-end designer clothing and accessories ranging from seminal couture houses such as Chanel and Christian Dior to emerging avant-garde designers like Alexander Wang and Gareth Pugh.
We have purchased many clothes here like almost never worn Christian Louboutin shoes, a Mui Mui fur coat, and Chanel suits, (Josiah even has a few suits rumored to be from Tom Cruise’s closet). Jackpots in Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, and Gucci are a common occurrence. Although all of the clothes are pre-owned, in most cases they have never been worn, or only worn once (red carpet gowns that can only be seen worn once per celeb), and then sold for around 80% cheaper than the original rack retail.
Every visit to Decadestwo is like being a kid in a candy store.
The store is constantly throwing creative events like the recent Decadestwo & the city, which featured a look at the four fictional closets of Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha of Sex & The City fame. If you are not on the mailing list already, we highly recommend you jump on it!
