Montecito Contemporary designed by Pierre Cabrol & Steven Ehrlich

This Montecito contemporary was completed in 1995 by local general contractors Giffin and Crane following an initial design by architects Pierre Cabrol and Steven Ehrlich. Pierre Cabrol is best known for his design of the Cinerama Dome in Los Angeles and working with the famous Welton Becket and Associates firm from 1957 to 1987, (designers of the Capitol Records building and Music Center in downtown Los Angeles.) Unfortunately, Cabrol passed away in 2009 at the age of 84.

Steven Ehrlich has lead Ehrlich Architects, located in Culver City, since 2003. The firm has won numerous awards for its very unique approach to architecture and planning called Multicultural Modernism. You can learn more about the firm and their practice here: www.s-ehrlich.com
